    Shiso, also know as perilla, Japanese basil, and ooba, is a popular herb in Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Red Shiso is widely used for its cumin/ginger/cinnamon. It pairs beautifully with fish as well as salads. In Northeast Asia, it is common to see this leaf served with raw fish.
